The Called & Gifted program was developed by the Saint Catherine of Siena Institute to help Catholics discern the particular spiritual gifts (charisms) the Lord gave them in Baptism and strengthened in Confirmation.

Recognizing and embracing our charisms is the first step toward fulfilling Christ’s mission for us. Understanding that we have a mission from Christ allows us to move away from merely volunteering to “fill a gap” toward living as a disciple of Jesus filled with joy and conviction and guided by the Spirit.

While charisms may sound strange to many Catholics, charisms are deeply biblical. Throughout the Old Testament, we read of God giving individuals a “spirit” of craftsmanship, speaking, leading, and prophecy, and, in his letters, St Paul speaks of charisms of teaching, service, and encouragement (to name a few).

Since 1993, the Catherine of Siena Institute has led over 200,000 people through their Called & Gifted Workshop, and Frassati Catholic Church is excited that we can help people discover how Christ is calling them to work in his vineyard.
