Liturgical Ministries

Greeters: Many visitors have complimented our parish for its welcoming spirit. Our greeters focus upon welcoming parishioners and visitors with warmth, helping everyone feel at home as they enter our sacred spaces. This is an ideal ministry for those who enjoy connecting with others and creating a friendly and familial atmosphere.

Ushers: Assist with seating, offertory collections, and ensuring a smooth flow during Mass. This ministry is great for those who desire to help with logistics (and sometimes, problem solving) before, during, and after Mass.

Altar Servers: Assist the priest during Mass by performing essential duties at the altar, enhancing the reverence of the liturgy. Open to anyone who has made his/her First Holy Communion. This is ideal for those who have or want to grow in attention to detail and reverence. Serving Mass was the favorite task at Church for Pier Giorgio Frassati. In fact some days he served multiple Masses!

Readers: Read the weekly announcements prior to Mass and proclaim the Word of God to the congregation. Ideal for those with good diction and a love for Scripture.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: While bishops, priests, and deacons are ordinarily the ministers of Holy Communion, most parishes serve vast numbers of people and need help distributing the Body of Christ during Mass.

Music Ministry

Nocturnal Adoration

Nocturnal Adoration was a favorite devotion of our patron, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. There are dozens of testimonies of people watching him pray during these nighttime opportunities to sit, kneel, and stand before the Lord in solitude and in song. In that same spirit, we have Nocturnal Eucharist Adoration on First Fridays.

Communion to the Homebound & Sick

Taking communion to the homebound is a way of sharing the Eucharist with those who are unable to attend Mass, offering them spiritual nourishment. Contact Donna Donaleski: [email protected]
Intercessory Prayer Ministry

Joining our pastor in praying for the specific needs of our parishioners, friends, and acquaintances. Members of this ministry receive requests for prayer via Flocknote's texting system as they are made known by our parishioners. Contact Deacon Jim Hinnerschitz: [email protected].
