Our Mission at Frassati Catholic Church is “Preparing Disciples for the Good Adventure.” What does this mean?
We recognize that everyone is at different stages of their climb—verso l’alto—towards the heights — towards heaven. Some are discerning the costs of beginning it. Others have stopped, fallen, or become sidetracked, due to noise, apathy, or wounds. Still others are actively engaged in the climb of their life. Finally, some have made it “to the top” and now are interceding and helping us.
Regardless, we seek as a family at Frassati to meet each person where they are and help them climb that next stage of the mountain of the Lord. We strive to do it "Frassati style," following the spirit of our patron, Pier Giorgio, "the Man of the Beatitudes." He saw the Beatitudes not as passive blessings, but as a call to live actively and share God’s gifts widely.
As he once wrote, “Jesus comes to me every morning in Holy Communion and I repay him in my very miserable way by visiting His poor.”
Our vision at Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Catholic Church is to be "One Joy-Filled Family on the Good Adventure." Our parish is guided by the 'Man of the Beatitudes,' Pier Giorgio. We aspire to be the 'Family of the Beatitudes,' where the joy of Christ arises within us and invites others into deeper communion with Him. We aim to be unified, and selfless, guided by Christ. Our happiness and blessedness stem from our relationship with Jesus. And as a family, united by baptism and the love of Christ, we walk this Good Adventure together, with God as the ultimate source of unity.
