Our parish is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for all, especially our children and vulnerable adults. In accordance with diocesan guidelines, we participate in Safe Environment Training to educate and empower our community to recognize, prevent, and respond to situations that may put others at risk. What is Safe Environment Training? Safe Environment Training provides vital education and resources to help protect the vulnerable within our community. This program trains all staff and everyone who participates in a ministry to understand signs of abuse, the importance of maintaining boundaries, and the steps for reporting suspicious behavior. Why We Prioritize Safety? Our faith calls us to act as guardians of each other, especially those who cannot protect themselves. This training aligns with our mission to foster a nurturing space where every member can feel safe, respected, and valued. By taking part in Safe Environment Training, we are reinforcing our commitment to the highest standards of integrity and care.
For Safe Environment Training, contact Mary Audino:[email protected], our parish's Safe Environment Coordinator.
