Building the Good Adventure Capital Campaign
We have much to be grateful for at Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Catholic Church. Amidst the 2020 Covid pandemic that shut down the world for months and the uncertainty that followed, we bravely began the colossal undertaking of founding a new parish. On February 6, 2023, Bishop Jacques Fabre-Jeune “sealed the deal” by officially erecting us as just that—a parish. Since then, we have made one good adventure after another and grown in households (800+) and ministries (liturgical, social, outreach, discipleship). One of the most amazing details of our growth is that it has occurred in the hallways and classrooms of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School, which doesn’t even have a room that can seat 100 people! This makes the case for our ongoing capital campaign plain and simple – we are homeless. Yet, we are not hopeless.
